Fees

Fees

The Psychologists Association of Alberta recommends a fee of $150/hr. for individual services, and a fee of $1520/day for consulting services. My fee is $150/session (which ranges from 55-75 minutes) for individual psychotherapy. Individual assessment services are also billed at a rate of $150/hr.

Workshop, contract and practice supervision fees are negotiated separately from this schedule.

Educational assessment is billed through MHEC (currently $115/hr. under review). Comprehensive youth and adult cognitive and achievement assessments are $1400.

Some (usually not all) of a Registered Psychologist’s fees are covered by extended health plan benefits (e.g., Blue Cross). Fees are due at the end of every session, cash or cheque. You, the client, are responsible for recovering costs from your provider.
